Peekaboo… or how to get more dramatic photographs on your trips
This picture was made during the most recent photo walk that I lead on Saturday. Some of the techniques of street photography and visual language composition tips that I share were used to in the making of this photograph. There are some of the visual language principles that we learn and put in practice during the photo walks: Rule of thirds, Rule of odds, Sub-framing, Natural framing, Direction, Negative space, Lines, Shapes, Simplification, Rythm and Scale to compose our photographs. If you are planning a trip to Guatemala, put my Antigua Photo Walks on your list of things to do; there are public and private photo walks.
If you would like to look at the photographic overview of the photo walk: Street Photography in Antigua Guatemala, as always follow the white rabbit through the rabbit hole. 😉
