-8 Days to 9th Anniversary: The Clown

Rudy Giron: Antigua Guatemala &emdash; Welcome to Antigua Guatemala © Rudy Giron

Here’s your Spanish word of the day: Payaso or clown.

One of the street photography approaches that I share during the photo walks is to anticipate the pictures so you can be ready the moment the images appears. If you walk with your eyes set for about half a block ahead, you can be on the look out for possible subjects and interesting settings to photograph them in. Other times, you just have to be quick with the camera to capture the ephemeral photographs. Of course, the more you do this, the better you get at it.

Are you traveling to Antigua Guatemala or are you a local resident who would like to focus on street photography? Do you want to learn the best places to photograph the sites and people of the city – or do you want to spend an entire day learning the tips, tricks, and secrets of a street photographer? If so, take a look at www.AntiguaPhotoWalks.com for additional information.
