Tonight I was fortunate to have the company of Guatemalan filmmaker Luis Argueta and producer Bea Gallardo Shaul while as we drove around looking for the best angles and perspectives to capture the eruptions of volcano Fuego while trying to include location landmarks and context. Here’s a small gallery of some of the images we were able to make. Please, share you thoughts regarding the images and let us know which one is your favourite.

Amazing shots Rudy, I like the one with cars best.
Well NYChapin, guess who cars these belong to?
Rudy, my favorite is #2. Very impressive. Looking forward to taking my own next week.
It’s going to be awesome, Leo. Don’t forget to bring your telephone zoom lenses and a tripod, which are requirement for this kind of photography. We will not need them for the photo walk, but they come handy for this and other kinds of photography.
Amazing!!
Thanks Bill, I am glad you like them. Also, I am glad I was able to share a new perspective and style for the Fuego eruptions photographs.
Wow… absolutely beautiful… well, leaving aside the destruction it causes of course. Why am I never that lucky to see this while I am in Antigua ???
Well Jeannine, I was not lucky either. I didn’t get to see you on your recent visit to La Antigua Guatemala. 😉
