Ruins of Convento de Santa Teresa

Some times I wonder what would’ve be like to walk around the streets of Santiago de Guatemala, now Antigua Guatemala, with all of its ruins being used and looking as pristine churches, convents and monasteries. I wonder if that was even possible any time since Santiago de Guatemala was always building and rebuilding after each earthquake since its founding until its abandonment in 1776.
