Foodie Alert: Chicken Tikka Masala from Toko Baru

Those of you who have followed the foodie alerts on AntiguaDailyPhoto will know that I truly enjoy having chicken tikka masala; there are are entries for Pushkar, Ganesh, and the defunct La Sala Masala.

This version of chicken tikka masala is from Toko Baru, a great joint located on 1a avenida sur, with lots of curry and pita sandwich options. I highlighted this diner for the first time back in April 2010 with a shorma kebab pita sandwich. Then I pointed out how cosmopolitan Antigua Guatemala really is when it comes to world food options considering this is a town with 8×8 street grid. I believe this statement still holds true, don’t you agree?
