Effigy of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Some of the new readers and followers of Antigua Daily Photo may not know that back in May 1st, 2006, I set out to share a daily life photo with y’all everyday; that often includes interesting or unique stuff I come across during my very own comings and goings.

This is why I am sharing with you a small effigy of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe inside a niche adorned with callas lilies, a popular and inexpensive flower found often in vases and gardens of Antigua Guatemala.
