Ruinas El Carmen are among the best preserved samples of the Moorish baroque architecture found in Antigua Guatemala. In fact, putting the close-up detail of the façade of Iglesia de La Merced and Ruinas El Carmen we get to appreciate back to back the intricate details found in the most detail-rich façades found in our enchanting colonial city.
