Street Portrait of Maya Textile Vendor — Take 3

Today, once again, I am sharing with you the vibrant colors and warm smile of another Maya ambulant vendor through a portrait made a few steps away from Fuente de Las Sirenas at Parque Central.

After years of leading photo walks in Guatemala, I have gained the trust of the some of the Maya people in Antigua Guatemala and surrounding villages through transparency, honesty and giving prints away. Wouldn’t you like to be known as the photographer who «gives» away photos as opposed to the photographer who «takes» photos.
