This has to be the high season for tourism during the dry season; everywhere you walk, there are tourist groups. Of course, the top tourist season is during the Holy Week when hundreds of thousands of tourists local and foreigners make their way into Antigua Guatemala to watch La Semana Santa processions. The dry season is the best time to visit Antigua Guatemala, that’s my humble opinion, because there are many more things to see and do such Día de muertos, Quema del Diablo, Posadas, Nacimientos, Procesiones, and Navidad and Fin de año. The sunsets are out this world and there’s virtually no rain to spoil your outing. Still, there are some people who have never visited Guatemala during the dry season, you know who you are, right?
