As this priest walked through the streets of Antigua you could see him praying as he went. It was a refreshing feeling to see a man of faith do this loving action. It is harder and harder to find people who are truly genuine in their faith in our society today.

Beautiful picture! Such a feeling of peace!
It’s also not very often that one sees a cleric in robe walking the streets here. Very interesting photo!
A emotionally evocative street portrait… I like it a lot!
This is a beautiful photo and a wonderful title.
You snapped just at the right moment to get that color avoid above his head. Kind of like a halo.
I find this photo to be both tranquil and moving at the same time.
I shared it on Facebook, which made me think back to a black and white photo you had a couple of years ago of a monk (priest? brother?) who was dancing across the cobblestones. I wanted to share it as a contrasting image, but I can’t seem to find it. (Your site has so many photos now it’s hard to find specific ones sometimes if you don’t know quite the right search word to use — I’m not complaining; it’s a good problem to have.) Can you point me in the right direction? Gracias!
This is Padre Jose from Sociales Hermano Pedro….
Thanks Catherine for providing a name for the Franciscan monk.
