Touring the Guatemalan Town Fair: The Spinning Games
Although we began the tour through the typical Guatemalan town fair yesterday, it was not declared until today. By the way, town fair are pretty much the same as county fairs in the U.S. and in other parts of the world. Anyway, this week we will take a tour through the town patron’s saint fair of San Miguel Escobar, a community about 2 miles from Antigua Guatemala. Today we take a look at a little girls having lots of fun in this mechanical game which simply goes round and around, spinning endlessly. Honestly, I could never stomach these spinning games, I would get dizzy and my stomach just wouldn’t agree with all the spinning. But, it looks like most kids had no trouble with it; the town fair is pure nirvana for many kids.
What about you, do you like the spinning games?
