Hey Rudy, are you the Mayor of Antigua or what? How come there was no water on the fountain the two days I stayed in Antigua?
Also, can you please take a shot of the large painting of Don Pedro de Alvarado, hanging on the second floor of the Municipalidad building. It is too big for my small camera. Maybe you can share with readers a brief bio of him.
I say, these are mermaids…the sirens were from the original fountain. Can’t help it. I saw the original sirens in the Museo de Santiago, and for unknown reasons, liked them more. 😀
