Colorful Red and Yellow Flowers

Please help me identify these colorful red and yellow flowers I found during one of my morning walks. The first correct answer will receive this photo as a post card. Good look to all participants.

It is Asclepias curassavica, known here in New Orleans as Scarlet Milkweed. It is the host plant for Monarch butterfly caterpillars and so it is often planted to attract and assist the beautiful monarch!
Thanks for your great photos – my son and I really enjoy them. It’s not as good as being there, but it helps us stay happy until we visit again!

It is Asclepias curassavica, the Scarlet Milkweed, host plant for the Monarch caterpillar. We have a bunch of it in our backyard to attract and assist the butterflies….thanks for all your wonderful photos, we enjoy them very much!
