Motorcycle parking areas in Antigua Guatemala

There are three designated [painted] parking areas on the streets of Antigua Guatemala. Blue is for handicap-marked vehicles. White is for motorcycles and these areas are usually the corner-end of each street. Areas not painted are for vehicles, either with a neighbor of Antigua Guatemala sticker or a day parking permit purchase from the the transit police. In theory, motorcycles parked in any other area besides the designed white-painted sections are given a parking violation ticket. The same for cars. However, often you see the motorcycles parked anywhere, as shown above.
