Entrance of Casa Convento Concepción

Today I share with you a picture of the façade and entrance of Casa Convento Conception and three pieces of trivia about it. Uno: The color Rojo Concepción in the official color palette for Antigua Guatemala takes the name from the red color found in this building and the ruinas de La Concepción. Dos: The devil is burned a few meters away from this façade on December 7 every year, except this 2020 for obvious reasons. Tres: The Christmas celebrations and observances begin in Barrio de La Concepción in Antigua Guatemala.
