Antigua Guatemala Celebrates it’s 470th Anniversary

The fountains are decorated with flower arrangements as part of the low profile celebrations for Antigua Guatemala’s 470th anniversary this March 10th. Because of the Lent processions and festivities, the celebration will consist of opera recital by ensemble from Juniata College from Pennsylvania on Saturday 9 at 7pm on the main square. Don’t miss it!

Las fuentes están adornadas con arreglos florales con motivo del 470 aniversario de la fundación de Antigua Guatemala en el Valle de Panchoy. Las celebraciones serán de bajo perfil por las procesiones y actividades cuaresmales del fin de semana, excepto por un concierto de opera por un ensamble de Juniata College que nos visita desde Pensilvania el sábado 9 a las 19 horas en el Parque Central. ¡No te lo pierdas!
