On November 1st we celebrate All Saints Day in Guatemala. Lots people fly kites, some fly giant kites. Others go watch the drunken races in Todosantos Cuchumatanes. The majority go spend time with the family at the cemetery. Fiambre is a Guatemalan delicacy prepared especially for All Saints Day and Day of the Dead, which is celebrated on November 2nd. Fiambre is basically a salad prepared with pickled vegetables and lots of cold cuts and some other meats. The fiambre shown here is made with 45 ingredients. ¡Buen provecho!
