The new location of Artista de Café on 5a avenida sur, only a few steps from Ruinas de San José El Viejo is so charming and enchanting; with lots of light and plants. I can see why so many people use this coffee house as a co-working space. Come back tomorrow if you want to see what your potential office for the day looks like.
Antigua Guatemala is quite possibly the cradle of the avocado toast, as I explained a year ago. Of course, Artista de Café puts a couple delicious twits on the current popular recipes by using toasted bagels sprinkled with pumpkin seeds along the usual seeds.
Of course, along the most popular coffee recipes, espressos, lattes and such, Artista de Café also offer the method of your choice. I have tried a yellow bourbon with V60 method [shown below] and a red bourbon prepared in a chemex; both very delicious and quite pure. Come back tomorrow if you want to see what chemex coffee brewer looks like.
