Pick your color #1
Okay, welcome back from an ease going weekend. It is Monday and you want things to be mellow, so I am not going to complicate things.
- The rules of the game are very simple:
- You look at the photo,
- You pick one single color and
- You leave a comment tell us what color you picked and why?
Let the game begin!

I like the red because it’s warm and it’s an old color.

Me too, Red is more passionate. Alive.

Green, because it is a warm color and goes better with my hair.
Did you notice that the picture caught all three people in the same stride? Pretty cool.

I like the faded wooden door on the green house - it’s natural, nuanced, and aged naturally, I assume.

well, I would choose blue of the number sign, in the corner of the picture at the right side. ’cause it’s so little and you hardly can see it, just half of the sign is there, needs kind of attention. I like that

I like the black, especially the way it’s framed with white and red.

The plum would be my choice, pretty much by elimination. I don’t particularly like green except on trees. And I like bright colors. Terrific photo by the way. Those doors are huge next to the people. Is that common in Antigua?

I choose red, like blood.

i like the wood door, looks like it is a natural wood uncolored. the thing i notice about your country and mexico you have bright colors houses. here most houses are white unless they are built from stone then windows and doors are usualy white. we are getting some colored houses now and it is your country men who own them. i can tell when some new comer is from guatemal or mexico because they paint the houses a bright color and some times 3 colors.

Red… and I love the red/green today and the green/red of yesterday. Nice series.

I choose the rojo, sangre de toro, because my brother in law Nicolas, who married a Colombian girl, has a house in Cartagena, Colombia, painted that colour. It’s a house similar to this one, with a deceivingly discreet door and facade onto the street, and inside it feels like a palace, with an pool in the patio. I have wonderful memories of this house. To me this is just SO south-american. The green is not.

I chose the sea-green colour, because it is so hot here today I would love a swim!

[...] You may remember this red wall from the Pick your color #1 entry. These are some of adjectives our visitor use for this wall: It’s warm and an old color, red is more passionate—alive, red is like blood, rojo sangre de toro, et-cetera (you can read all the comments by clicking the link Pick your color #1). After receiving such great feedback, I decided to give this wall a second shot. [...]

Great photo. I choose the green one, it makes me feel so calm and I need it today.

I love the yellow the bottom of the door on the right.
