Old Lock Revisited

Old Lock Revisited

If you want to win this photo as a post card and receive it via regular Guatemalan postal mail system at your home address with Guatemalan post stamps you have to answer the following questions:

  • When and under what title was this lock originally appeared in AntiguaDailyPhoto.Com?
  • What was said about the key for this lock?
  • What’s the name of the film that was paraphrase or referenced as the title for the original entry?

Good luck to all participants!

  1. You know I cannot resist my philatelic tendencies 🙂

    So here are the answers:

1)On 14/06/2006 under the title lock stock and two leaf door.
2)this was said about the key:

    Carol responds:
I like this photo. I can just imagine how big that key must be. Does it still work?

    Response – June 14, 2006 : 10:28 am

    sompopo responds:
Kinda has a medieval feel to it. You could lock the whole city down with that lock. Awsome.
I suspect the key is the force behind its power?

3)Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

    • @emromesco, shoot, yesterday, I just mailed you the post card made from mother’s day photo. Had I known you were going to win again, I could had sent both post cards at the same time. I gotta save cada quetzalito, you know. 😉

  2. Lock, stock & a two-leaf door ~ 2006-06-14

The key was “huge by modern standards”

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) is the referenced movie.

  3. I will let Diane win too because:
    1)I do win too often
2)Rudy mentioned having send the May postcard already
3)I am a nice guy 😀 (It is a mix of my Guatemalan heritage and my Canadian attitude)

  4. Oh, you are both caballeros! Thanks for letting me win. I know the photo and stamp will be a big hit at school. I also know my 5 chapin children will love seeing a part of their homeland! Diane
