I love the Guatemalan sense of humour; so quick and pointed in response to current affairs and politics in particular….but the list is so long, where do you begin, pues? Without doubt La Antigua Guatemala is my favourite place and has touched my heart in ways I cannot express.
Oh we are quick for sure. We sent our proposal to English Parlament offering to take the place of the departing Scotland in the empire. 😉
You see?! Now that could have been a good trade! Despite all the rubbish that goes on in politics, the English love Latin Americans and those who know where Guatemala is, are very fond of the people. We could have added some chispa and calor humano to our rather boring Empire…and a small emblem of the quetzal to the centre of the Union Jack…not to mention keeping the blue part of the flag which would have been removed as it is Scotland’s colour!
