I believe this is what happened, Rudy,….as you sought to better understand the cheery nature of Guatemalans, I think you asked British tourists if the happiness factor in Guatemala or La Antigua was “in the water”? You got the customary polite and well-mannered response for which we Brits have justifiably gained international recognition!
Oh yeah, the Brits and their unique language expressions are always a crack.
