Independence Day Decorations — El Salvador Flag

As I have been saying, the 5-nation motif is repeated in many of the flags of the Central American republics as a reminder that once there was a Central American Federation, sort of the United States of Central America, for which Guatemala City was the capital and government seat. Triangles and volcanoes are also used often on the flags. Another thing once should notice is that all five flags use the colors blue and white.
