The arch was in need of repairs, clean-up and perhaps even a paint job, so the protection agency closed down the Calle del Arco to do all this work. I read somewhere that might take six weeks or so. I will let know when the most emblematic street of La Antigua Guatemala opens again. Stay tuned!
