I know someone painted that wall (probably several times over the years), but its beauty is not man-made; it actually makes itself beautiful through weathering, playing with layers of colours and a natural adaption to the elements. It is the beauty of age. It is of course enhanced and contrasted by the beauty of Anouk, which is youthful, with a story yet to be etched upon the surface….which is why I like that picture.
