Yes Rudy, trying times here in the UK! The escalation is beginning and Covid-19 cases will dramatically increase in April and probably onwards. Even with a developed health system, it is not built for these levels of stress and demand for acute care hospital beds could run to 8 times our capacity, leading to up to 250,000 deaths. We have an aging population.
Like most societies in developed nations, we are not mentally adapted to things going this wrong, not having control over circumstances, nor to having our guarantees for the good life removed from us. Nature has other plans to regulate the planet’s problems. At least Greta Thunberg can now see better what happens when people no longer fly or pollute.

Thank you for those friendly faces.. They give me hope during confinement . The only way to get through this is knowing my friends and loved ones in Guate are safe and healthy and thanks to facebook we can stay in touch. April 1st when I was supposed to come my beloved Antigua will break my heart… Thank you Rudy for giving us a glimpse of hope with your photos of being back soon. Home is where the heart is, so mine is always in Guatemala where all my friends are… Social distancing ? No problem for me cause the less I see of the people here the better… They only remind me that I live in a place I hate… My heart is with all of you and I admire your president who is ten times smarter than any european leader for closing borders and confining people to their homes before the virus really hits…. Everyone stay safe…
