At the end of a recent afternoon photo walk I ended by the parque central and while sitting down to reply back to pending messages and emails, the light were turned on and the already nice ambience at the main square became beautiful. This stucco siren is found on the top relief found in the building right across the cathedral on 5a calle oriente. These are not the original mermaids designed by Arquitecto Mayor Diego de Porres in 1738-1739; these are new replicas.
