Trampa para barriletes

Soon enough the electric wires become adorned with kites, lots of kites. See kite flying and the Guatemalan electric wire webs just don’t get along. One serves as trap for the other.

    Here, in almost all new construction of subdivisions etc, the power lines are run under ground which makes for a much cleaner look. Of course we still have alot of power lines in the air and when those ice storms come along during winter the pine trees are sure to take them down. We have been through it dozens of times over the years. But, now that you mention it I do not see alot of kite flying around here anymore either. Must be Global Warming?

    I still remember the peasure I felt when flying kite. It is something unforgetable, feeling wind through my clothes, whispers of silence through the ears, and the pull of a linen line in closed hand.
    Thanks Rudy for bringing back the sense of kite flying.
