Before Sunset in La Antigua Guatemala

Before the Sunset Shadow

Happy Birthday Chata! (I-heart-U) Go rent this movie and let me know your feelings about it.

The quality of the sunset light during the winter months in La Antigua Guatemala is the best of the year. Almost anything you photograph has this warm feel. If you are in Antigua now, click away like crazy. Even a simple shadow can be warmth, don’t you think so?

  1. Who knew a shadow could feel warm? The detail is amazing, even the glass in the lantern casts a light shadow.
Where I am in NY, the angle of the sun this time of year makes it feel like late afternoon all day long.
Thank you for bringing a little bit of Guate to me everyday.

  2. Love this shot. The iron fixtures around Antigua are amazing (although one of the protruding iron bars on the windows caught my right shoulder…gotta watch out for them on the narrow sidewalks, eh!) Hopefully I’ll be traveling soon to LAG and will see this in person. Cheers and happy holidays to you Rudy.
