It’s incredible that even the small, tiny villages with little over 500 people have churches. Although the temples are smaller and simpler, they still are built with arches and bells. I wonder what this church is going to look like in a hundred years from now; what do you envision?

Let’s see, on my last visit to the land of eternal Spring, we were driving somewhere near Los Encuentros, and I saw a little church similar to this one…next to it was a much larger gothic-looking cathedral under construction, mst of the building was stll cinderblock/stone/rebar, but it was definitely going to be another stunning wonder of a church. So, 100 years from now, I wouldn’t be surprised if Santa Catarina Bobadilla was a larger version of San Francisco El Grande!
The lighting is very interesting in this photo. It almost looks like a picture of a picture. It has an old-timey feel.
