I feel like doing a series on just courtyards. Imagine, having ten or twelve photos of the most popular courtyards in Antigua Guatemala. Which would you include?

This reminded me of one of your most evocative photos from 5/11/09…the same courtyard, but in the rain. That picture always made me feel like just sitting at one of those tables on the balcony and watching the rain all afternoon…of course with a chocolate caliente and a couple of champurradas! Do you reckon photography is about knowing the right moment, to some extent?
In a similar theme with El Canche’s comment…the little courtyard at Dona Luisa’s has been one of my favorite places for years. I have passed many afternoons there, sipping a cappuccino, talking with the waitresses, or whomever else happened by, watching the rain fall down…and enjoying every minute. A beautiful little spot, in any weather !
