Laundry Day

Rudy Giron: AntiguaDailyPhoto.com &emdash; Laundry Day

We continue our series #RealGuatemala with a photograph of drying clothes in one of the villages of Antigua Guatemala. If you look into the picture, what are the things that you find interesting and what makes you feel this image, if anything at all?

  1. Well, the color is fantastic; super-vibrant, which is normal for guatelinda. I like the clothes drying on the zinc roofing material, since everyone knows this will heat up quickly and dry the clothes faster (don’t we?). And I’m curious about ‘taller’….taller de que? Interesante…. 😉

  2. Taller de sueños. ( good catch on the sign Eric) Looks like the kids play rugby. All those striped shirts. I have a white shirt that I bought in Antigua. It has a food stain and I have refused to wash it on a machine. I wish my shirt was hanging in one those clotheslines.
