Antigua Guatemala’s Passionate Baristas

Rudy Giron: Antigua Guatemala &emdash; Barista Multiplicity at Fat Cat sepia

We are so fortunate in Antigua Guatemala to have so many dedicated and passionate baristas who are committed to serve the best coffee cup possible in town. From Fernando’s Kaffee, an authentic Guatemalan coffee shop run by Fernando to Christian “Frosty” from the on-and-off Tretto Caffé or Jeremy and Tito from Fat Cat Coffee House; the list goes on and on. A few more coffee shops run by passionate baristas are Expressarte, Castell, La Parada, El Refugio, Estudio Café, Guate Java, Bella Vista, Ganache, et cetera.

Here you can look at the turbo caffeine-charged barista Jeremy from Fat Cat Coffee House, Antigua Guatemala. Also, with today’s post we kick-start a COFFEE WEEK from Antigua Guatemala for the first seven days of February. Stay tuned for more coffee imagery and trivia!

If you want to learn more about coffee from Guatemala, follow the white rabbit, links, to the coffee archives.

Last but not least, once again AntiguaDailyPhoto is participating in the City Daily Community monthly theme: Scene from a Coffee House. So there you have it, my participation for the February 2016 monthly theme. I hope you enjoy the multiplicity of a passionate barista. Take a coffee charged tour around the world to look at what’s being shared by other DailyPhoto cities. Enjoy!

  1. This Semana Santa I am traveling to Antigua with a group of Colombians… the coffee house tours are going to be interesting.

  2. Fernando’s is one of my favorites that I just found on my last trip in December to Antigua. I can’t wait to try some of the others Rudy mentions in this article. I can honestly say that I’ve never had a bad cup of coffee in Antigua. Kudos!
