Sights of Our Times — Shoe shiners waiting for clients

Just like many ambulant vendors, shoe shiners must find a way to generate some income to put food on the table during this trying times.

Since mid March when the central government forbade non-essential activities, leaving a large percentage of the population, including myself, without means to earn an income. That’s over 100 days, many people are struggling and some people have hit the streets with white flags, which signify that they are requesting passers-by help with anything to feed themselves and their families.
