YO-YO: The Sign

This is the welcoming display sign that you can find in the hallway that connects the underground parking lot and the Hotel-Museo Casa Santo Domingo in La Antigua Guatemala. Although, there is no reference element in the picture to give you an idea of the size of the sign, I can tell you is very big; the red background of the display must be about 3 meters by 2 meters (9 feet by 6 feet).

The hanging yo-yos and this display sign should be enticing enough to make you go visit the YO-YO: retratos y autoretratos the photo exhibit (portraits and self-portraits) inside the Marco Augusto Quiroa gallery in Hotel-Museo Casa Santo Domingo. Don’t you think so?

I’m YO-YO’ed out. No more YO-YO pictures please. Give us the real Antigua photos please. I know it’s your “La Antigua Guatemala’s blogumentary through daily photographs” site and you can post whatever you like but I want to see more photos of el Parque, people, streets, churches, volcanos, stores, doors…etc. I’m hundred of miles away and would like to see more traditional pictures instead of hanging yo-yos. Please don’t be pissed at me.

Mario, have you looked at all the photos in this site? Have you read all 680 consecutive entries since May 1st, 2006? you can see 15 days at the time per page… there is a lot of what you’re looking for in the archives. Perhaps by the time you’re finished digesting every single entry, caption and photograph, I will be finished with the mini series… 😉
