Just last week I was asking where I can get home-made pastrami or roast beef to prepare high quality sandwiches with artisan breads that one can find in Antigua Guatemala. Well, I came across the restaurant La Cocina de Atete on 7a calle poniente #16 where one can actually get a pastrami sandwich and other kind sandwiches as well as take home delicious pastrami, pancheta, roast beef, bacon, etc. by the pound or fraction. A sandwich special as shown above with home-made bread, pastrami, vegetable soup of the day or potatoes and drink can be had for Q40/$5.50. ¡Buen provecho!
Do you know where else I can have a delicious high quality pastrami sandwich in Antigua Guatemala?

Wow! I’m going to try one of those yummy looking pastrami sandwiches as soon as I get back to Antigua! Thanks for the tip, Rudy!
Who knows Anne, that’s something that many people believe would be really great, except the businesses on Calle del Arco, of course.
Yes Anne, we should go together for a good pastrami sandwich.
It’s a date then! I’ll be back soon; I’ll be in touch. It will be great to catch up. A. 🙂
Alright Anne, see you soon.
It’s time to make a date for that pastrami sandwich, Rudy! Let me know when you’re free for lunch!
